Cremona, Carabinieri checks: two hundred grams of marijuana and packages of cosmetics subject to receiving stolen goods seized.

The Carabinieri's activity against the sale and use of drugs does not stop in the province, which allowed them to complete a new service operation with the seizure of two ounces of drugs and an electronic scale.

In fact, on the morning of May 14th, the Carabinieri of the Operational Division of the Crema Company a 33-year-old man arrested for possession for the purpose of drug dealing, found in possession of marijuana and a precision scale.

That morning, around 08.30, the Crema Radiomobile soldiers checked a man driving his car in Salvirola. Then personnel from the Operational Division intervened and, believing that the 33-year-old could be of interest, they searched him, also checking his car, without finding anything. Afterwards, they decided to search his home. Here, they checked the various rooms where they found 4 glass jars and a sachet containing almost 200 grams of marijuana, a precision electronic scale, other jars with traces of marijuana and sheets on which previous weighings and the quality of the marijuana were indicated . Everything was seized, the 33-year-old was arrested for possession for the purpose of drug dealing and accompanied to the Crema barracks. Subsequently, he was placed under house arrest awaiting the validation hearing which took place on the morning of May 15 and concluded with the validation of the document and the postponement of the hearing to next September. The man was freed.

The Carabinieri of the Pandino station have a 45-year-old man, with a police record against him, reported, held responsible for a theft in a local supermarket and threats. On the afternoon of May 13th, around 17.00 pm, a Carabinieri patrol from the Pandino station was sent to a local supermarket because a man was trying to get past the checkouts without paying for goods. On site, the military found the 45-year-old, well-known man, already outside the supermarket, and the employees of the business who reported that the man had stolen a bottle of alcohol. The man, evidently drunk, was annoyed by the presence of the military and by the control, also becoming restless and grumpy. Then, the Carabinieri who intervened reconstructed that the 45-year-old had entered the shop and gone to the alcohol department, where he took a bottle which he hid inside his trousers. But he had been followed and seen, because in the past he was believed to have committed other thefts. And at the checkout they had invited him to pay for the bottle, but the man had started swearing and insulting the employees present, and then left the place without returning what he was wearing. Subsequently, he returned to the supermarket and threatened the employees. For this reason, the man was accompanied to the Pandino barracks where he was reported for theft and threats.

The Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Unit have two men aged 43 and 35, residents of the province of Bergamo, with previous police records, were reported for receiving stolen goods, found in possession of cosmetic products whose origin they were unable to justify.

On the morning of May 14, around 11.20, the Radiomobile patrol, during the normal territorial control service, noticed a suspicious car with two people on board in Spino d'Adda, on the SP 415 Paullese. After following her, the military stopped the vehicle and identified the occupants, who were decidedly nervous and restless for control.

The military decided to proceed with the search of the two and their car, finding, in the back seat of the vehicle, a large box containing cosmetic products, in particular numerous packs of lipstick from a well-known brand. The men provided unclear justifications on the origin of the products and, for this reason, they were accompanied to the Crema barracks. Taking into account that they were in possession of over 280 packs of lipstick, with a commercial value of over 40 euros each, for which they did not justify the origin and payment, the two were reported for receiving stolen goods and the packages were seized while waiting to identify the owner.

They had probably committed theft because they were moving quickly with a car full of diesel cans. But they were intercepted by the Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Unit.

On the evening of May 14, shortly after 22.00 pm, the soldiers of a Crema Radiomobile Gazelle noticed, on the SP 20 at the entrance to Castelleone, a suspicious car with two people on board, which was moving towards the interior of the city ​​centre. As soon as they saw that the carabinieri had noticed them and had ordered them to stop to control them, the two ran away at high speed and turned into a street, arriving inside a residential complex where they pulled the brakes and ran off, managing to escape on foot taking advantage of the darkness. Other patrols immediately arrived on site to assist in the search for the two fleeing men, but to no avail.

They were on the car a rubber hose and 4 large cans containing over 100 liters of diesel were found, all seized to trace their origin, not yet verified. The military also proceeded to seize the vehicle in order to carry out all the technical checks necessary to identify the users.
