Cosenza: arrest in flagrante delicto for mistreatment in the family in San Giovanni in Fiore.

The Carabinieri of the Cosenza Company arrested a 35-year-old man in flagrante delicto for mistreatment of his cohabiting wife.
In this regard, it is communicated, in compliance with the rights of the suspect (to be considered presumed innocent in consideration of the current stage of the proceedings until a definitive determination of guilt with an irrevocable sentence), in order to guarantee the constitutionally guaranteed right to report, that the military personnel of the Carabinieri Station of San Giovanni in Fiore (CS) promptly intervened when the woman asked for help through the Operations Center of the Cosenza Company.

Once they arrived on site, they identified the suspect, near his home, intent on walking away.

The woman, found in a clear state of agitation, had shortly before been offended and attacked by her husband, so much so that she had to go to the local hospital for treatment.

It was not the first time he had suffered similar violence and harassment.

At the end of the preliminary investigations, the suspect, arrested in flagrante delicto for mistreatment in the family, was associated, by order of the PM on duty of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Cosenza, to the Cosenza prison, awaiting the validation hearing before the GIP at the local Court.
