Cosenza: Arrest in flagrante delicto for attempted extortion

In Cosenza, the Carabinieri of the Cosenza Centro Station have A 64-year-old local man arrested in flagrante delicto for attempted extortion, known to the Police Force.

In this regard, we inform you, in respect of the rights of the suspect (to be considered presumed innocent in consideration of the current phase of the proceedings until a definitive finding of guilt with an irrevocable sentence), in order to guarantee the constitutionally guaranteed right of reporting that the military personnel operating in the course of preparation territorial control service, promptly intervened inside a construction site, ascertaining that, shortly before, had reiterated a request for an extortionate bribe.
