Cinisello (Milano), the former mayor and her husband in handcuffs

Earthquake in Cinisello Balsamo: today 19 June the financiers of the Paderno Dugnano Company carried out an Order from the GIP of Monza, following investigations delegated by the Public Prosecutor's Office and arrested the former mayor of the Democratic Party Syria Trezzi and her husband Roberto Imberti as well as a Chinese entrepreneur.

Those arrested are accused of corruption by the entrepreneur involved in the development of his real estate properties located in the Grugnotorto Park in Cinisello Balsamo. This valorization would have resulted from having attributed, in one case, a notable increase in the building indices on an area owned by the entrepreneur and, in another case, in the increasing revaluation of agricultural land (from 6 million to 16 million euros) through specific inclusion in the expansion project of the former Auchan.

In this operation, two precautionary measures involving the obligation to report to the judicial police were carried out against a former Councilor and a former Majority Councillor. Elected mayor of Cinisello for the Democratic Party from 2013 to 2018, Trezzi is currently councilor delegated for Mobility and Network Services of the metropolitan city of Milano. Updates later.
