The Carabinieri of the Merate station arrested a 35-year-old non-EEC woman for residential burglary.

The episode occurred in Cernusco Lombardone, where a elderly woman, on his way home, he caught the intruder while he was rummaging through his apartment after having forced a French window.

Thanks to the quick intervention of a passerby who was alarmed by the screams of the victim blocked the fugitive while awaiting the arrival of the Carabinieri, alerted in the meantime by calls to the single national number 112, the situation was resolved without further consequences.

The military intervened promptly recovered 3000 euros and various gold jewellery stolen from the victim, immediately returning them to their rightful owner.

The judge validated the arrest, ordered the immediate release of the woman, applying to her the precautionary measure of the residence ban in the Lombardy Region.
