Catania, Operation “Devozione” Against Cocaine Trafficking: 13 Arrests Made
The State Police, at the request of the Etna District Anti-Mafia Directorate, has ordered 13 precautionary measures against individuals investigated for cocaine trafficking, particularly on the Calabria-Sicily axis, possession, carrying of weapons and drug dealing.

From the early hours of this morning, about 100 officers of the Catania State Police are engaged in the execution of an order with which the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the local Court, at the request of the Etna District Anti-Mafia Directorate, Has ordered personal precautionary measures against 13 subjects to various titles investigated and with different profiles of responsibility for the crimes of finalized association to trafficking in narcotic substances such as cocaine, possession and carrying of firearms, drug dealing.
Particularly, intense cocaine trafficking has been documented on the Calabria-Sicily axis.
Further and previously unpublished details were illustrated during the course of a press conference scheduled for 11,00 at the police station.
