Castelleone: the Carabinieri have reported three women held responsible for three thefts committed at supermarkets in Cremona, Castelleone and Soresina.

They targeted three supermarkets, in Cremona, Castelleone and Soresina, which, last February, in the space of two days, suffered theft of goods worth several thousand euros. But, at the end of the investigations, the Carabinieri of the Castelleone station reported three women, aged between 22 and 29, all with police records and without a fixed abode, for aggravated theft, held responsible for the thefts in the three commercial establishments.

In mid-February, the security manager of a commercial chain presented complaints to the Carabinieri of Castelleone regarding thefts suffered in their supermarkets, reporting that, in two days, the women had committed three of them. In particular, in the first case, in Castelleone, they stole goods worth around 2.500 euros, in the second case, in Soresina, they would have taken possession of goods for almost 2.000 euros and, in the third case, which occurred in Cremona, they would have took various products for almost 3.500 euros. Having received the complaints, the military started investigations, reconstructing what happened and the methods of actions.

They noticed that those who acted were always the same three women, who arrived at the shops with a car which they parked as close as possible to the emergency exits of the commercial structures targeted. Then, each of them took a trolley and entered the shops, filling it with products. Finally, they all approached an emergency door of the shops together and opened it, running out and quickly loading all the goods into the car they had nearby, and then escape quickly.

The military acquired images of the thefts recorded by the plants video surveillance internal and external, from which it was possible to observe the passage of the car in which they had arrived and subsequently fled, as well as the various phases of the thefts.

And, starting from the license plate of the vehicle they used, they managed to trace the users of the vehicle. In fact, the Carabinieri of Castelleone had informed the other Carabinieri commands in the area about the car to be searched and, a few days later, the vehicle was stopped by a patrol of the Crema Radiomobile in Spino d'Adda, along the SP 415.

And there were three women on board who were accompanied to the Crema barracks for checks. They were identified and photographed and their photos were acquired by the Carabinieri of Castelleone who compared them with the images of the three thefts, ascertaining that they were the same women. For this reason, they were reported to the judicial authorities.
