Castel Guelfo, Bologna: slaps, kicks and knees to his partner. Precautionary measure for a 38 year old.

The Carabinieri of the Castel Guelfo station (BO) have carried out a precautionary measure requested by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bologna against a 38-year-old Italian, unemployed and with a police record, investigated for mistreatment against family members or cohabitants and personal injury.

The events began on the evening of 19 September last, when the Carabinieri of the Imola Operations Center received a phone call from a citizen who reported having heard screams coming from an apartment and attributable to a domestic dispute.

Upon the arrival of the Carabinieri, an Italian woman in her thirties reported being slapped by her partner who had left with his two minor children. On this occasion, the Carabinieri tracked down the subject, identifying him as the 38-year-old Italian, together with his minor children who were in good health.

After further months of endurance, last January, the woman decided that the time had come to ask the Carabinieri for help, so she presented herself at the barracks and filed a complaint, recounting a series of episodes that occurred over the last year.

During the investigations, it emerged that the 38-year-old allegedly attacked his partner with pushes, tugs, slaps, kicks and knees to the ribs, for reasons of jealousy, not accepting the end of the romantic relationship. An aggravated act, as reported in the order issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Bologna, because it was also committed in the presence of the two minor children.

Tracked down by the Carabinieri of the Castel Guelfo station, the 38-year-old was subjected to the precautionary measure: the ban on approaching places frequented by the offended person with the application of the so-called electronic bracelet.
