Castagneto Carducci (LI), Carabinieri checks for safety on construction sites. The owner of a business was fined.

Safety checks on construction sites continue by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Livorno and the NIL - Labor Inspectorate Unit in order to guarantee safety in the workplace, protect workers, limit accidents which too often have terrible consequences.

As part of a campaign of extraordinary checks in construction, the NIL soldiers, with the collaboration of colleagues from the Castagneto Carducci station, found, at a construction site located in Donoratico, the failure to send an employee to the pre-medical examination - employment, violation of employment protection which resulted in a fine of 1.423,84 euros imposed on the 57-year-old entrepreneur.

The campaign of joint controls by the territorial force and the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate Unit of Livorno will continue throughout the provincial territory and is part of a broader strategy of the Carabinieri force for the protection of workers and safety in the workplace.
