Canicattì, aggravated fraud, impersonation, possession and fabrication of false documents: Italian citizen reported

Canicattì, following investigative activities delegated by Deputy. Prosecutor, Dr. Gloria Andreoli, the agents of the PS Commissariat of Canicattì, coordinated by the Chief Commissioner Francesco Sammartino, have reported in a state of freedom an Italian citizen, born in 1987, resident in Ficarazzi (PA) for the crimes of fraud aggravated by ' use of a false document, impersonation, possession and manufacture of false identification documents. The person under investigation has numerous police records for fraud against insurance companies, perpetrated in various areas of Sicily. Specifically, the multiple criminal offender, as soon as he received requests for insurance policies from users in the Sicilian capital, used to contact various insurance brokers in the Sicilian territory, to whom, by providing false documentation certifying the identity of the policyholder and false bank transfer receipts, he received policies which he would then in turn issue to honest citizens. Furthermore, the man, using excuses or making himself unavailable, did not issue any insurance documents to the latter after payment.
