Busto Arsizio (Varese), two groups of drug traffickers and dealers defeated: 11 arrested
Yesterday morning, Tuesday 25 June, the State Police of Busto Arsizio executed an Order by which the GIP applied precautionary custody in prison a eleven people seriously suspected of the crime of possession and dealing of narcotic substances.
The restrictive measure constitutes the final act of a complex investigation that began months ago by the policemen of the State Police Commissariat coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Busto Arsizio e made it possible to dismantle two distinct criminal groups, composed mostly of citizens of Morocco, dedicated to importing and "wholesale" sales di significant quantities of cocaine and hashish.
The Ordinance carried out yesterday morning has in fact made it possible to bring accomplices and clients to justice, to them once “retail drug dealers”, four suspects who had been surprised during the investigationsi with large shipments of drugs and arrested by policemen from the police station: last October, a cairate (Varese), they had been two Moroccans domiciled in Tradate arrested, blocked while they were trying to move about 60 kg from a warehouse. of hashish and cocaine; a few days later, a Hoofddorp (Monza-Brianza), the agents of via Foscolo they had brought a Moroccan to justice of Cinisello Balsamo e a German citizen seizing approximately 20 kg. of cocaine, partly still hidden on the articulated lorry driven by the second and partly already loaded onto the car driven by the first, who would have placed them on the illegal market.
Two, then, the criminal groups dismantled thanks to the investigation started from the observation of a group of local pushers, active between Gorla Minore and Cairate, emerged from previous investigations carried out by the Commissioner's Office and the Public Prosecutor's Office of Busto Arsizio.
There are several elements common to the two partnerships: I'use of warehouses to store, away from prying eyes, drugs to sell – in one case the warehouse in the industrial area of Cairate and in 'another an anonymous apartment in Agrate Brianza; employment, to move drug shipments, of a fleet of cars equipped with hiding places activated with hidden mechanisms; the division of tasks between organizers, that "remotely" maintained relationships with customers and suppliers, and executors, who they provided for the transport of drug consignments, their transfer and recovery of the money thus taking on the risk of being arrested and being rewarded for this with monthly salaries, in one case with the sale on favorable terms of a bar to Milano and with legal assistance after any arrest.
La "Commercial network" of drug buyers-dealers was extensive, including several locations in the provinces of Varese, Milano, Como, Brescia, Bergamo, Monza and Brianza and Alessandria.
