Burglary in an apartment in the province of Ascoli: a 29-year-old identified and arrested.

We inform you that the July 27, 2023, staff of State Police belonging to the local Judicial Police Team Police station of San Benedetto del Tronto, arrested a known local criminal, twenty-nine years old, recipient of a precautionary detention order in prison issued by the Court of Appeal of Ancona as an aggravation of a previous measure. The execution of the restrictive measure arose from the outcome of the investigations carried out by the same Judicial Police Team following a home burglary perpetrated against a well-known family residing in the northern area of ​​the city. In essence, the 13 July 2023, a theft was reported inside an apartment located in the Ascolani area of ​​S. Benedetto del Tronto, during which numerous gold and silver jewels.

Having received the first information from the complainant, the police officers from the police station acquired the movies of the video systems located nearby and, after a careful analysis, they managed to identify a couple of people, a man and a woman, who, a few hours before the theft, were wandering in a suspicious manner along the sidewalk in front of the house. Thanks to the appropriate enlargement of the frames and painstaking analytical work, the investigators identified both the womana, note prejudiced local, that man, an Albanian citizen resident in the district. The investigative findings were summarized in a detailed crime report which requested the issuance of a local and personal search decree against both identified subjects. The Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Ascoli Piceno, having examined the evidence, issued a search and seizure decree carried out immediately by the Judicial Police Team against the two suspects; well, in the home of the young convicted woman, previously identified as the material perpetrator of the theft, two bracelets and two women's watches were found stolen during the theft on 13 July as well as numerous medals and women's accessories from the same residence.

During the parallel info-investigative activity, the Police managed to trace the exercise I buy gold to whom the two suspects had delivered the silver material removed during the theft, finding it still in the shopkeeper's possession and subjecting it to seizure. All the seized material, subject to authorization from the Judicial Authority, was immediately released and returned to the person entitled to it. At the home of the foreigner, an accomplice of the aforementioned, no objects pertinent to the crime were found, but in any case the checks carried out in the meantime allowed us to learn that, until 2019 the man he had worked for the company owned by the looted family.

This detail explained the reason for the absence of break-in during the commission of the theft, committed by the young woman with the use of the keys provided by the identified Albanian citizen who therefore, in the case in question, played the role of "baseman". Given the investigative findings and the discovery of the stolen goods, considering that the woman was already subjected to the precautionary measure of the obligation to stay resulting from an aggravated robbery committed by the same in March 2022 against an elderly woman, the AG proceeding, having received the investigation documents, deeming the measure in place inadequate, issued an aggravation order ordering the transfer of the same to prison. Therefore, on the morning of 27 July, the Agents of the PG Team of the Police Station of S. Benedetto del Tronto traced the accused in this center, associating her with the women's prison of Pesaro.
