Brescia, illegal hashish and marijuana dealing activity stopped, culprits arrested
Brescia, The Local Police does not lower their guard against drug dealing in the train station area. On Tuesday 21 July the officers arrested in the act of two Senegalese men committed a crime and seized approximately three grams of hashish and two and a half grams of marijuana.
In the afternoon a patrol, which was inspecting the surroundings of the station, noticed the suspicious movements of a man Senegalese origin which shuttled between via Foppa and the station avenue. At one point the Senegalese was reached by an Italian and by a person of Ukrainian origin, both known to law enforcement as drug users. The Senegalese escorted the two towards a nearby supermarket, where a compatriot was waiting for him. The latter, sitting on the curb of the shop window, took out two wrappers from a pack of cigarettes he had with him and handed them to the other Senegalese who, in turn, distributed them to the Italian and the Ukrainian , receiving some banknotes in exchange.
The two Senegalese then shared the sum received while the Italian headed towards Via Vittorio Emanuele II, where he was stopped by the officers. About half a gram of was found on him hashish and two and a half grams of marijuana. The patrol then returned to the supermarket where they stopped the two Senegalese men and searched them. The man who sat on the curb of the shop window was carrying seven bars of hashish weighing more than two and a half grams in total.
At the order of the Public Prosecutor, the two Senegalese men were held in the security rooms of the Command awaiting immediate judgement.
