Bolzano, drug dealing in the city center. The State Police reports a foreign offender and seizes half a hectogram of drugs

In recent days, a crew of the "Flying Squad" of the State Police, during the usual general prevention and territorial control service, while passing near the Railway Station, more precisely in via Perathoner, near the bus stop noticed two foreign citizens in a suspicious attitude.

In particular, The agents noticed that one of the two individuals had slipped a package into the other individual's jacket, receiving a banknote in exchange.
The police officers, at that point, decided to intervene, blocking both of them and then accompanying them to the police station, where they were subjected to a personal search.

Charged against one of the two - later identified as MZ, a 46-year-old Pakistani citizen legally residing in the country and with specific criminal and/or police records, for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing - the search had a positive outcome, as a package of hashish weighing approximately 15 grams was found and seized in his jacket pocket, who reported having purchased from the other arrested subject.
On the latter - identified as HR, a 43-year-old Moroccan citizen resident in Val Pusteria with numerous criminal and/or police records, in particular for crimes against the person and for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing - more precisely in his trousers pocket, The police found and seized another package containing about 40 grams of hashish, very similar to the one sold a few minutes earlier to the other arrested person. In addition, the sum of 60 euros was also seized from the latter, believed to be the proceeds of dealing another substance.

At the end of the Judicial Police proceedings, the pusher was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office for drug dealing, while the buyer was administratively reported as a drug user.
The Police Chief of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori, in consideration of what has emerged with respect to the two foreign citizens, has issued against both of them two expulsion decrees from the National Territory.

"Drug dealing is a particularly serious crime, not only because of the effects it produces on drug users, but also because of the context in which it finds fertile ground for its diffusion and for the criminal activity it generates, in terms of degradation, petty crime and consequences on public order and safety. – underlined Police Commissioner Sartori –. For this reason, prevention and the fight against its spread represent one of the priorities for the State Police, which is committed daily to guaranteeing the safety of citizens.".
