Bologna: Anti-drug operations in front of schools led to the arrest of a 55-year-old Tunisian.

The Carabinieri of the Bologna San Ruffillo Station arrested a 55-year-old Tunisian, unemployed and with a criminal record, for drug dealing.

The arrest was carried out during the anti-drug services that the Carabinieri carry out in front of the schools in Bologna, to prevent criminals from getting close to the children who attend the institutions.

The preventive activity of the Carabinieri ended with the arrest of the 55-year-old who was seen in a garden adjacent to the Istituto Comprensivo 17 Gandino-Guidi, while he gave a fragment of a presumably narcotic substance of the hashish type to a person who had approached.

Subjected to a personal search, the 55-year-old was found in possession of around forty grams of a presumably narcotic substance, of the hashish type, a precision scale and 770 euros in cash.

Faced with the evidence of the facts, the 55-year-old did not resist and took responsibility.

The buyer, however, was reported to the Prefecture of Bologna for personal use of narcotic substances.

By order of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bologna, the 55-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri was transferred to the Rocco D'Amato prison, at the disposal of the Judicial Authorities.
