Blitz against illegal work in restaurants and beaches in Marsala and Mazara del Vallo: fines of 55 thousand euros.
The Carabinieri of the Labor Inspectorate Unit of Trapani, in joint service with soldiers from the Marsala and Mazara del Vallo Commands, they carried out checks towards some commercial activities operating in the public sector, aimed at combating the phenomenon of undeclared work.
The checks carried out focused on catering activities in the seaside resorts of the province and were subjected to investigations 7 activities including restaurants and pizzerias. At the end of the service, the worrying results found by the Carabinieri are highlighted: 14 illegal workers and 5 irregular workers out of 52 present.
In addition to the sanctions, the related measures for suspension of business activity, aimed at guaranteeing the restoration of contractual conditions with workers not regularly employed as provided for by current employment legislation.
"The controls – say the Carabinieri – will continue in the next few days throughout the province".
