Belvedere Ostrense, car wrecker reported for ignoring environmental protection regulations

Belvedere Ostrense, checks by the Traffic Police of Fabriano and Ancona on commercial activities in the road traffic sector continue without interruption. The inspection at the headquarters of a well-known company specializing in car demolition and metal recovery revealed an illegal and improvised storage of spent batteries in the premises and in the adjacent land, the carcasses of which were scattered on the ground and exposed to atmospheric agents and therefore completely polluting. . The over 70 exhausted batteries, classified as dangerous material and subjected to a strict legal management and disposal regime, found in bulk and without precautions to protect the environment, triggered a complaint against the owner, who in addition was a fine of over 4.000 euros was imposed in relation to the keeping, also found to be irregular, of the register of waste classified as dangerous in which several tens of liters of liquids coming from the dismantling of the engines of the vehicles being demolished had not been recorded. The spent batteries were secured and seized.
The Traffic Police Section of Ancona is equipped with a team of professionals dedicated to checks on car demolition activities as well as those of repair, rental and sale of vehicles as well as driving schools and car registration agencies.
