Belluno, kicks and punches a man over drug debt: 33-year-old arrested.

On Friday 17th the Belluno Mobile Squad with the help of the Rimini Mobile Squad, gave execution of a prison order issued by the Belluno Public Prosecutor's Office, against IF, a thirty-three year old criminal. The provision determines the penalty of 3 years' imprisonment for i crimes of serious personal injury, extortion, robbery and drug dealing.

The conviction was determined in the context of a criminal proceeding whose investigations had been carried out by the Belluno Flying Squad under the direction of the Public Prosecutor's Office in 2023. The activity had allowed the identification of IF as the responsible for a violent assault against a subject, which occurred inside the home of the injured party towards the end of January 2023, through kicks and punches to the face and chest of the victim, who was also hit while he was on the ground. The attack had caused serious personal injuries with an important prognosis well beyond 40 days due to the fractures caused. In fact, the victim was not able to carry on with her ordinary occupations until the end of June 2023.

The attack was caused by a debt of €200, accumulated by the victim towards the criminal following the purchase of some doses of a narcotic substance such as cocaine.

During the attack IF had also stolen a bracelet from the offended party.

The investigations also made it possible to verify that the day following the attack the victim had made a top-up on a prepaid card in the name of the convicted person, thus satisfying the latter's extortion claim, obtaining the unfair profit for him.

On March 19, The Office of the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of Belluno, by agreement of the parties, had sentenced IF to 3 years of imprisonment and a €1000 fine.

After being located in the province of Rimini by the agents, yesterday morning IF was transferred to the “Casetti” prison in that capital.
