One more episode from “red code“. One more woman victim of family abuse and personal injuries.
It happened on Monday in Curti, in the Caserta area. To request theintervention by the Carabinieri was the victim himself, a 34-year-old local, immediately after being attacked and beaten with slaps in the face by her 36-year-old live-in husband from whom she is separating.
When the police arrived at the house, the signs of the beatings were still clearly visible on the woman's red face.
The victim told the police that she had just been attacked by her drug-addicted husband from whom she had simply asked for an explanation as to why he had secretly used his car instead of his own and that the latter, as soon as he learned of their arrival, had put it in practices acts of self-harm for fto believe that he had defended himself from one of his attacks.
The woman then told the same police that she had been the victim, for about two years, of continuous aggression by the man, never reported, which had given her a persistent state of anxiety and fear for her safety, so much so that it led her to ask unilaterally the separation which her husband, however, never wanted to grant her, remaining in the marital home thus forcing her, for fear of being attacked, to lock herself in the bedroom during the night.
The arrested person was associated with the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
