Bad weather in Tuscany: the Mobile Column of the Liguria Civil Protection has left

È The mobile column of the Civil Protection of Liguria left this morning from Santo Stefano Magra, headed to Tuscany to support the areas most affected by the bad weather. Teams of volunteers and officials will operate in the provinces of Florence, Prato, Pisa and Livorno for safety interventions and emergency management.

The mobile column of Civil Protection of the Liguria Region left this morning from Santo Stefano Magra to reach Tuscany and provide all the necessary support to the areas of Florence, Prato, Pisa and Livorno were hit hardest by the wave of bad weather in the last few hours.
"At the request of the National Department, with which we are in constant contact, we immediately took action to organize the departure – explains theCouncilor for Civil Protection Giacomo Raul Giampedrone -. Last night they gave us the green light and this morning our mobile column left to provide support to the affected territories".

Travelling teams also include officials for scouting activities, about twenty volunteers and all the equipment necessary for interventions to secure the populationand to implement the first measures to resolve the critical issues.
