Bad weather, a Milano yellow weather warning for thunderstorms from 12pm on Sunday.

Il Natural Risk Monitoring Center of the Lombardy Region has issued a yellow alert (ordinary) for temporal from 12pm tomorrow, Sunday 21st July, until 6am on Monday 22nd July.

Il Municipal Operations Center (COC) of Civil Protection it will be active for monitoring the hydrometric levels of the rivers Seveso e Lambro and to coordinate any interventions in the city.

“During the weather alert, citizens are invited not to stay in underpasses, in the areas at risk of flooding in Seveso and Lambro, under and near trees and near construction site scaffolding, dehors and tents”, warns the municipality in a note. “It is also important to pay attention to meteorological phenomena during outdoor events, in order to prevent dangerous situations”.
