Attacks before the Manduria-Novoli football match: 34 years of DAPSO for Manduria fans

The State Police personnel notified the DASPO provision issued by the Taranto Police Commissioner Massimo Gambino against ten Manduria Sport fans believed to be allegedly responsible for an attack on supporters of the Novoli Calcio team which took place before the football match on January 14th which pitted the two teams against each other at the Sava municipal stadium.

The investigations, by the staff of the Manduria police station, with the help of other police offices in the area, also supported by the meticulous analysis of the video surveillance images in that area, they found that a group of around 20 fans of the home team, mostly known to the police, had gathered before the match at a service station in the Messapian municipality, their usual meeting place.
