Sora, assets worth 1,3 million euros confiscated and 10 precautionary measures issued to a "Sinti" family
The State Police has issued the residence obligation to 10 people belonging to the Sinti clan, already involved previously in the "Last race" investigation two years ago. The Roma managed the underworld businesses and laundered money and assets worth 1,3 million euros, buildings, land, luxury cars and bank accounts were seized.

On the morning of Thursday 27 June the State Police of Frosinone carried out to the decree issued by the Civil and Criminal Court of Rome - Specialized Section for Preventive Measures with which it was ordered the application of the personal prevention measure of Special Surveillance with obligation to stay in the municipality of residence or habitual residence, against 10 subjects belonging to a family of “Roma” origin from Sora (Frosinone).
The same decree also prescribed the confiscation of movable and immovable property, already subjected to preventive seizure during the month of November, belonging to the aforementioned subjects and to third parties who had the availability; same they had already been involved in the operation "Last run" in September 2022.
The request for the application of personal and property measures arises from the outcome of the investigations carried out from the Prevention Measures Section of the Anti-Crime Division and the Flying Squad of the Frosinone Police Headquarters, aimed at countering the accumulation of assets and wealth by two criminal groups, operating in the city of Sora (Frosinone) and in the neighboring municipalities, composed of subjects belonging to the "Sinti" family, in as involved in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking and usury.
The high income obtained from the activity of drug dealing, as well as being reinvested in purchasing batches of drugs, they came used to make usurious loans, in favor of small local entrepreneurs, who are in clear economic difficulty and often heavily threatened if the sums were not repaid.
The people involved, although not having carried out any regular work activity, over the years they have Villas and buildings built in the Sorano area were illegal because they lacked building authorization. The majority some of them were penniless, but they showed a standard of living well above their economic means, flaunting, as is their custom, luxury watches and cars, purchased with the proceeds of criminal activities.
During the activity, steps were taken to implement the provision, with the confiscation of the following assets: 7 buildings, 10 lands, 21 vehicles, 32 precious metal jewels including 5 watches, for an estimated value of €10.600,00, financial and banking resources attributable to the proposed subjects for a total of approximately 80.000,00 €, postdated checks for a value of 2200,00 euros and cash for a value of approximately 8000 euros.
The judicial administrator appointed by the Prevention Measures Court estimated the value of the assets subject to confiscation in euro 1.304.880,15.
The execution of the measure imposed was carried out by personnel from the Anti-Crime Division, of the Flying Squad and of the Provincial Cabinet of the Scientific Police of the Frosinone Police Headquarters, assisted by staff from the Province's detached police stations, with crews from the Lazio Crime Prevention Department.
