Ascoli Piceno, illegal work and unauthorized concerts: 7 thousand euros in fines for several entrepreneurial activities.
The extraordinary territorial control services in the Picena province continue unabated. In recent weeks, State Police operators have been employed in carrying out various so-called operations. “nightlife” both in Ascoli Piceno and in San Benedetto del Tronto. These services, together with all the others arranged by the Police Commissioner, have the objective of allowing nightlife evenings to be carried out in complete safety. In particular, personnel from the Flying Squad, the Administrative Police Division, the Immigration Office, the San Benedetto de Tronto Police Station and the Scientific Police participated in the same services.
The use of this staff, together with that of the operators of the Crime Prevention Department and the Pescara dog units, made it possible to control various commercial establishments including bars, discos and nightclubs and to proceed with the identification of more than one hundred people, including workers and customers. .
Following the aforementioned checks, it was also ascertained that a worker had been employed in one of the aforementioned premises, located in Porto d'Ascoli, and was then hired with a UNILAV communication sent only after the check carried out. For this reason, the Territorial Labor Inspectorate of Ascoli Piceno adopted the suspension of entrepreneurial activity against the latter pursuant to art. 14 Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments. The sanction was subsequently revoked following the regularization of the employee's employment position.
Furthermore, in the aforementioned venue the police also verified other deficiencies, such as the fact that a musical show was taking place without the authorization documentation for the event having been obtained; therefore, the local Administrative and Social Police Division contested the sanction provided for by the art. 666 of the Penal Code for shows or entertainment given without the Authority's license.
During the course of the services, it was then verified that the administration of food and drinks was carried out inside a bar in the absence of SCIA. Finally, the operators noted that in a room used as a massage centre, located in the Porto d'Ascoli area, the required SCIA was missing in relation to carrying out the activity.
For the above, overall fines of over 7000 euros were imposed.
The sensitivity of the State Police remains high for the safe carrying out of all recreational and commercial activities in the area and the planning of further similar prevention services is underway.
