Anzola dell'Emilia: “Clone” site dismantled for selling fake tour tickets of a famous Italian rock star, 18-year-old reported

The Carabinieri of the Anzola Emilia Station have a 18-year-old Italian reported for the crime of scam in competitionThe investigative activity carried out by the Carabinieri has allowed them to ascertain that the “clone” website was made as a model and copy of the official one legally responsible for the online sale of tickets for the tour of a famous Italian rock star, scheduled for next summer.

The number of people defrauded is still being quantified while, at the moment, the unfair profit obtained from the bank transfers received is approximately 16.000 €.

Unlike the official site, where payment is made via online platforms, this “clone” site, which at first glance it looked the same as the real one, payment was required mandatory via instant bank transfer made to a current account. This ploy was designed to deceive the many fans who, believing it to be a serious and official site, proceeded to make such transfers to purchase tickets at competitive prices, without ever actually receiving the ticket.

The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Bologna invite all those who have purchased, via instant bank transfer, tickets for the 2025 tour dates of a well-known Italian rock star, to contact the nearest Carabinieri station to file a complaint or even just to receive advice, also suggesting to purchase tickets only through official platforms.
