Anzio: attempted robbery, resistance to a public official, drug dealing. 25 year old arrested.

The investigators of the State Police of the Anzio-Nettuno Commissariat, during the territorial control service, in via Valle di Schioia, ordered a young man on board a motorcycle to stop who, at the sight of them, accelerated the march to evade control.

A chase ensued during which the driver took several packages out of his pockets and then threw them to the ground, until, arriving near the car park of the Lido di Lavinio station, he was, not without difficulty, stopped and found in possession of 5 grams of cocaine, half a gram of hashish and 100 euros.

During the identification phases, the man began to offer strong resistance and, at the same time, attempted to grab the service pistol of one of the operators, unable to extract it also thanks to the safety systems with which the holster is equipped; subsequently, he continued to rant, hitting the company car with his head, damaging it, thus attracting the attention of some of his compatriots who took to the street, surrounding the police with the intention of freeing the arrested man.

During these hectic moments, other patrols arrived in support, allowing the investigators to accompany the man, a 25-year-old Moroccan, to the offices of the police station where, at the end of the ritual activities, he was arrested because he was seriously suspected of crimes of attempted robbery, resistance to a public official, damage to state property and detention for the purpose of dealing drugs.
