Andria, attempted kidnapping for mafia extortion purposes: two people arrested

This morning, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Barletta-Andria-Trani – supported by the Helicopter Squadron of the Carabinieri Hunters of Puglia – at the conclusion of complex coordinated investigations from the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Bari, District Anti-Mafia Directorate,  they executed the precautionary custody order issued by the GIP of the Court of Bari – at the request of the local DDA (district anti-mafia directorate) against 2 subjects considered to be seriously suspected – in various capacities – for attempted kidnapping for the purpose of extortion and attempted extortion, with the aggravating circumstance of the so-called mafia method, to prejudice of some entrepreneurs from Andria (Barletta-Trani).
