The Anti-degradation team of the Local Police of Ancona continues its work territorial control work, especially in view of the upcoming Christmas and end-of-year holidays which will see an increase in the influx of people who will want to enjoy the innovations that the Administration has in store starting from 2 December.
They were right in Corso Garibaldi yesterday morning two homeless people removed who asked for alms. The checks continued at the Passetto where, in a shelter for the homeless, 100 g of marijuana and a bottle of amphetamines were seized. The Passetto area is particularly under control and had already been monitored in the past to avoid the proliferation of situations at risk of micro crime, drug dealing and degradation.
"I'm very satisfied with the work of the anti-degradation team of the Local Police who continue to meticulously monitor the area, already carrying out various interventions and bringing to light behaviors that give rise to reports of crime or illegal activities" states the vice mayor and councilor for the Local Police, Giovanni Zinni.
