Agrigento, "Casuzza" investigation: two subjects arrested for theft and recycling of motor vehicles.

The State Police of Agrigento, in the past few days, served the notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations against two subjects, whose responsibilities had emerged from the investigations carried out as part of the investigation called "Casuzza", dating back to June 2020 , these investigations, which made it possible to shed light on a series of illicit conduct regarding drug dealing in the Favara area.

From the investigations carried out by the Flying Squad of Agrigento, led by Giovanni Minardi, it would emerge that ML, born in 1989, would be responsible for the crime of multi-aggravated theft, in collaboration with other subjects currently unknown, since between 27 and 28 February 2019, he was introduced to the inside the Poste Italiane Distribution Center, Favara branch, wrongfully taking possession of three Fiat Fiorino vans, in use by the aforementioned company. The suspect is charged with the aggravating circumstances of having committed the act with violence against things, consisting of having tampered with the ignition wires of the engine, having committed the act on goods intended for public service and of having acted with more than one person.

The aforementioned Flying Squad, again at the disposal of the Agrigento Prosecutor's Office, also notified another notice of conclusion of preliminary investigations to DGG born in 1996, who allegedly recycled a Fiat Fiorino van, previously stolen by ML cl. 89, in collaboration with other currently unknown subjects, to then affix the license plates of the Fiat Panda 4×4 car, the subject of another theft, which occurred on 26 February 2019, to the detriment of the Regional Department of Civil Protection in Sicily, thus also carrying out the operations suitable to hinder the identification of the illicit origin of the vehicle.
