The man is under investigation for mistreatment against family members or cohabitants, personal injury and sexual violence. The precautionary measure was issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Bologna, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bologna who coordinated the Carabinieri investigations, which began last March, when a 46-year-old Albanian woman showed up at the barracks to report the husband, the 50-year-old under investigation.

The woman reported to the Carabinieri that she had been a victim of mistreatment for at least seventeen years, in particular after the birth of her second child in 2006, when her husband, already unemployed and supported by his wife, began to get drunk and take out his anger on her. frustration, with slaps and psychological aggression that degenerated into death threats: "It makes me want to kill you!". Furthermore, the 46-year-old told the Carabinieri that in August 2018 she was forced to go to the emergency room to be treated for a wound on her hand (8 days prognosis) that her husband caused by hitting her with a kitchen knife during an argument. housekeeper.

After the complaint, the 46-year-old, intending to separate, left home together with her minor son and went to live with some relatives. Tracked down by the Carabinieri, the 50-year-old was subjected to the precautionary measure of house arrest.
