A Croatian woman arrested and three young people reported for aggravated theft in the Venice station.
As part of the intensification of services crime prevention within the railway yards, on Saturday 8 July, during the surveillance and control services in the Venezia S. Lucia station, the personnel of the Veneto Polfer Department proceeded with the arrest of one young Croatian citizen in execution of the detention order, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the court of Milano, having to atone for the sentence of 5 years, 3 months and 19 days of imprisonment for property crime.
The agents of the Polfer they also took action against others 3 young women, which had already been referred in the past to the Judicial Authority for aggravated theft in competition, investigating two of them, as they would not have complied with the Mandatory Street Sheet provision issued by the Municipality of Venice and the third because it would have violated the Prohibition of Residence, issued by the Court of Venice in October last year. The four young women, who were wandering suspiciously among the passengers at the station, would not have escaped the attention of the police who, therefore, stopped them and subjected them to thorough checks. The various measures against them emerged from the investigations carried out; at the end of the ritual formalities, the young Croatian citizen was accompanied to the prison of Venice.
