The call to the Operations Center came during the night from the company's custodian, who reported that the perimeter alarm of the production complex had come into operation. During the inspection, the military noticed three men intent on cutting the copper wires of one of those cabins with shears. As soon as the Carabinieri saw them, the three individuals immediately attempted to cover their tracks, moving away in different directions. While two managed to escape, the third was reached by the Carabinieri, with whom he started a violent struggle in order to escape control. To overcome the firm resistance and the violent conduct carried out, it was necessary to use the taser supplied to the crews who intervened, following which the subject of Romanian origin, who did not suffer any injuries, was declared in a state of arrest by the Carabinieri of the Monza Company, as he was caught in the act of committing the crimes of attempted aggravated theft and resisting a public official.

At the end of the formalities, the 34 year old resident of Milano he was held in the security rooms of the Carabinieri Company of Monza, awaiting the direct trial, held the following day, following which the AG, after having validated the arrest, applied the precautionary measure of the suspect to the obligation to reside in the Municipality of Milano and the obligation to submit to the PG.

Following the service operation, two of the active soldiers were transported to the emergency room of the Monza Polyclinic, where they were discharged with a 20-day prognosis for the injuries sustained following the fight with the arrested person.
