Villa Literno (Caserta), beats his disabled wife to get money for drugs.
The carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Casal di Principe Company (CE), in Villa Literno (CE), proceeded to arrest a thirty-nine year old local man in flagrante delicto for domestic abuse and attempted extortion.
The military personnel, following the request for intervention received at "112", immediately reached the house where the arrested man, a drug addict already under house arrest for environmental crimes, was physically attacking his wife, who was invalid, blind, causing various bruises and the chipping of a tooth.
The cause of the argument, which occurred in the presence of one of the couple's three minor children, can be traced back to the woman's refusal to hand over 50 euros to her husband, which the latter had demanded for the purchase of drugs.
Previous records and arrest
The military also ascertained that the victim had already reported previous episodes of domestic disputes in 2015 and 2018.
The arrested person was accompanied to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere (EC), available to the competent judicial authority.
