A young boy was arrested for violence or threats, resistance and aggravated personal injury to a public official and was released on bail for the crimes of aggravated damage and insult to a public official.

It happened precisely on Easter Sunday, on the evening of 09 April 2023, around 23pm, when the Flying Squad Operators, at the direction of the Operations Room, went to via Foà due to an ongoing dispute between several people.

Having arrived quickly on site, the Police Operators were approached by a young boy, already known to the Police Headquarters, who, by shouting and railing against them, displayed an aggressive and hostile attitude to the point of attacking one of the policemen who intervened in the face and damage a company car.

At that moment, the State Police personnel who intervened tried in vain to mediate and bring the young boy back to calm in order to contain him. The latter, in fact, forcefully resisted and uttered threatening and insulting phrases towards the Operators in front of a large audience of people, thus demonstrating contempt and hostility.

Subsequently, it was ascertained that the subject, together with other boys, had previously damaged a commercial establishment present there and physically attacked an employee and a customer of the same premises, kicking and punching them and causing lacerated and bruised wounds to their heads and trauma. cranial judged to be healable in days three and seven.

Therefore, with quite a bit of effort, the subject was handcuffed and taken to the Police Headquarters offices for the ritual procedures where, in the throes of a state of continuous and uncontrolled agitation, medical personnel from 118 arrived and subjected him to an examination. However, the boy did not desist from his violent conduct, so much so that he attacked another officer who suffered injuries to his forearm.

Therefore, the subject was arrested and made available to the Judicial Authority at the Vercelli prison awaiting validation of the precautionary measure.

Further investigations are underway to reconstruct the dynamics of the dispute and identify those responsible.
