Venice, the Venice State Police arrested 13 people for trafficking and dealing of narcotic substances.
The investigation by the policemen of the flying squad, directed by the District Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office of Venice, made it possible to identify an organized group that managed the trafficking and dealing of cocaine destined for the historic center of the lagoon city. During the searches, a narcotic substance of the cocaine type was found which was seized.
The recipients of the measures are of Albanian origin and worked in the historic center and exploited the "cover" of a normal job to be able to move undisturbed in the canals of Venice.
The investigations made it possible to acquire serious clues regarding the existence of a distribution network for narcotic substances created by the association, equipped with logistical structures strictly dedicated to carrying out distribution activities (apartments, cars, means of communication); the network of subjects, as far as it has been possible to ascertain, also seems to have a solid, pyramidal and organized structure, divided into tasks and "levels".
