The fight against the sale and use of drugs in the Crema area continues, with one new service operation which allowed the seizure of a hectare of narcotics.

In fact, on the afternoon of Sunday 11 February the Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Division had a 19-year-old man resident in the province of Bergamo was reported for detention for the purpose of drug dealing, found in possession of hashish.

Shortly after 17.30pm on Sunday, the Radiomobile soldiers, during their normal territorial control service, were in the municipality of Vailate along the SP 34 and noticed a car preceding them with only the driver on board.

Believing that he might be of interest, they ordered him to stop for a check, but he continued driving for a few hundred metres, moving inside the cockpit as if he wanted to hide something.

Once stopped he was identified and, in addition to the attempt to evade control, also the fact that he was a resident in the province of Bergamo and that he was very nervous for a normal check, proving that his personal and vehicle documents were in order, aroused suspicions among the military.

They searched him, also checking the car, and, in his private parts, they found a cellophane wrapper with 101 grams of hashish. The subsequent search of his home did not reveal anything else.

The narcotic was seized and the 19-year-old was accompanied to the Crema barracks and reported for possession for the purpose of dealing narcotics.
