Udine, widespread checks against illegal work: fines of 94 thousand euros and four activities suspended.
The Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate Unit of Udine, with the collaboration of the soldiers of the Carabinieri Company of Udine, Cividale del Friuli and Latisana, in recent days, has carried out checks in the sector of public businesses and commerce.
The inspection activity, of an ordinary and technical nature, was aimed at verification of the regular employment of workers and compliance with safety regulations, health and hygiene in the workplace.
The checks carried out across the entire provincial territory made it possible to identify failures to comply with safety in the workplace, such as the failure to draw up and update the DVR, the lack of training on worker safety, the failure to monitor health and the presence of illegal labor, fire prevention and first aid.
Four public establishments and two commercial activities were checked, identified following info-operational activities sequential to the analysis of data coming from the territorial Armed Forces, from the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate Units and from the examination of databases. The activities of two public establishments and two commercial activities were suspended due to serious safety violations and the presence of "illegal" workers. Overall, fines of over 90 thousand euros were imposed.
