Udine, the police arrest 4 minors held responsible for robberies, persecutions and injuries

Udine, The Udine State Police has carried out 4 precautionary measures issued by the GIP of the Juvenile Court against minors held responsible for aggravated robberies, attempted robberies, persecutory acts and personal injuries, on several occasions, against other peers in the capital of Udine.

Since October last year, as part of investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Trieste, the policemen of the Flying Squad have started an activity called "GENERATION Z" operation, against some minors responsible for the commission of robberies, attempted robberies, persecutory acts and personal injuries, towards other peers, which occurred in the city of Udine.

The criminal actions, which occurred between October 2020 and last February, mainly took place in places frequented by children (fast food outlets - public gardens - bus and train stations) and involved young minors (both Italian and foreign) as protagonists. , in some circumstances with the complicity of adult children, who moved in homogeneous and interchangeable groups who identified their victim who, feeling threatened by the "pack", was forced to passively submit to the will of his attackers, in order to avoid consequences even more serious.

On 26 October 2020 in Udine, inside a well-known fast food restaurant, after having surrounded, pulled and threatened the victim, the perpetrators took possession of the sandwiches that she had just purchased as well as the hat and shoes she was wearing.

On 05 November 2020 in Udine, at a municipal park, they approached the chosen victim and after surrounding her, intimidating her, the young people tore the chain from her neck which, immediately afterwards, they went to resell in a nearby gold shop.

On 01 December 2020, in Udine, at the bus station, after having beaten the victim with slaps, punches and kicks, the attackers tore the chain from his neck and also took possession of an earring and his mobile phone, then forcing him to kicking and threateningly, to get on the bus to remove him from the place. On the occasion one of the suspects was found in possession of a switchblade.

Between the months of December 2020 and January approximately, in Udine, at the bus station on several occasions, the same victim was targeted and molested by two minors so much so as to cause her a persistent state of fear.

On another occasion she was pushed against one of the windows, blocked and hit in the face with a fist, to force her to hand over her branded purse to them; she was threatened a second time with a fake gun pointed at her head “if you don't give it to me I'll kill you”; a third time, she was punched in the face so much so as to cause a bruise to her jaw with a prognosis of 7 days, because she had refused to commit theft of clothes at a well-known shopping centre.

Last February 09th, in Udine, at the train station, the victim was surrounded, preventing him from moving, and after repeated threats of physical harm, the attackers had the scooter he was traveling on and the money he had with him handed over to him.

On the basis of the elements collected, the Public Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Trieste requested and obtained, delegating their execution to the State Police of Udine, some precautionary measures. 2 custodial measures are being carried out in juvenile penal institutions against two boys aged 15 and 16; two other boys aged 15 and 17 will be placed in communities for minors outside the region.

As part of the same activity, local and personal searches of 10 other minors aged between 15 and 17, involved in the investigations, were delegated and are being carried out.
