As part of the initiatives of contrast to the phenomenon of juvenile crime and hardship, with particular reference to the "Unaccompanied Foreign Minors” (MSNA) who are the authors, in groups or individually, of crimes against the person and property, in relation to drugs and weapons, the Central Operations Service of the Ministry of the Interior has ordered for the following days 25 from October to 29 2024 of targeted services in 30 Italian provinces among which Udine.
To the activity, called “High Investigative Impact“, personnel from the Flying Squad, divided into four daily shifts, from the Crime Prevention Departments and the Flying Squad, as well as from the State Police Stations of Tolmezzo and Cividale del Friuli, took part, employing approximately 150 agents and PG officers.
The activity in the province of Udine has allowed us to identify more than 1000 people among which approximately 350 minors, 6 of these are irregular on the National Territory and for this reason rely on the communities present in the territory.
During the activity we also proceeded to the arrest of an adult on the instructions of the Romanian Judicial Authority.
Within the scope of the aforementioned activity, the following were Approximately 300 vehicles checked e Two reception facilities for “Unaccompanied Foreign Minors” (MSNA) monitored present in the municipal area of Udine, five fines were issued to the Highway Code as well as to the seizure of approximately 55 grams of a narcotic substance of the “hashish” type e when a vehicle is stopped.
The activity in question was concentrated in places where the presence of subjects linked to the reported context was recorded and was also supported by checkpoints in both urban and extra-urban areas.
Some social profiles on the platforms most used by young people and in particular by minors were also scrutinized, such as “Telegram”, “Instagram” and “WhatsApp” providing for check 24 profiles in particular, none of these have been reported to the Judicial Authority for possible blackout.
