Turin, place too dangerous: the police commissioner suspends the license for 15 days.
The Turin Police Chief suspended the license for 15 days a bar in Corso Benedetto Brin.
After repeated checks by the Police in recent months, the Police Headquarters announces how the bar was found “gathering place for people burdened by police and judicial prejudices”, especially for crimes against the person, property, public administration and drug dealing.
During a check, in the month of May, a customer, initially sitting at the tables, at the sight of the agents, he had tried to walk away towards the bathroom of the club, but it had been arrested and found in possession of over 56 grams of hashish.
During another check, local police officers had sanctioned the owner after finding several administrative violations, including "sanitary deficiencies, illegal occupation of the road and lack of adequate signs relating to the smoking ban".
Already in 2016 and 2018 the bar had been the subject of a similar provision by the Police Commissioner: narcotic substances had been found and "the stable presence of subjects burdened by police and judicial records relating to narcotic substances has been established".
Therefore, the Turin Police Chief, through the local Administrative and Social Police Division, has ordered, pursuant to art. 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety, the suspension of the bar's license, which will remain closed for 15 days.
