Trapani, in recent days the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Trapani Company arrested a 51 year old for the crime of resisting a Public Official and aggravated personal injury for having attacked the soldiers operating during a road traffic control.
During the performance of a normal control service aimed at compliance with the rules of the highway code, the Carabinieri ordered the ALT to a person, caught riding a moped, without a protective helmet. From the beginning, IA class 70, from Trapani with a police record, was not cooperative and, during the identification procedures, having sensed the subsequent administrative arrest of the moped, he went into a rage, starting to yank the soldiers in order to recover the identity and circulation documents kept at that time inside the military vehicle. Despite the operators' repeated attempts to bring him back to calm, the agitated man, after uttering death threats to them, lashed out at them, hitting them with kicks and punches, being immobilized and arrested after a brief scuffle, during which the soldiers suffered personal injuries. Once the procedural formalities were completed, he was transferred to his home under house arrest, awaiting the validation hearing. The arrest was confirmed in recent days.
