I Carabinieri of the Trapani Company intervened on the evening of Tuesday 6 June, around 22.30 pm, in the locality of Xitta, as the disappearance of a 4 year old boy who played alone in front of the house. Following the parents' report, the Operations Center had all the gazelles in the circuit converge on the spot, concentrating the searches in the immediate vicinity of the house. After having received a detailed description of the clothes worn by the little one and viewed some photos, the extensive search through the streets of the town began. The family's home and cars were also searched by the military and it was in one of these that they found, at around 01:00, the child was found inside the trunk of his aunt's car, parked near the house, who was sleeping.
