During these services, the Polfer availed itself of the collaboration of state police dog units and used metal detectors and smartphones to check documents in real time.
Among the many interventions carried out, the Polfer of Ancona investigated a 34-year-old Albanian citizen in a state of freedom who, surprised and called away by FS Security personnel while he was crossing the tracks inside the railway yard, gave a strong slap on the face of the employee of the railway station just as the Polfer patrol was arriving and witnessed the scene.
The person, evidently in a state of intoxication, was identified and from the checks carried out was found to be in possession of a stolen prepaid card. For these reasons she was reported to the Judicial Authority for receiving stolen goods/goods and beatings and was administratively sanctioned both for being caught in a state of intoxication and for illegally crossing the tracks. The "minidaspo" measure was also applied against him with an order to remove him from the railway facility for 48 hours.
Also in Ancona, the Polfer proceeded against a 48-year-old Bangladeshi citizen, sanctioning him for obscene acts in a public place.
The incident happened on board a regional train coming from Rome and heading to Ancona. After attempting to communicate with a traveler, the man committed obscene acts. The intervention was immediate thanks to a call to the Compartment Operations Room from a friend of the traveller, probably contacted by her, who reported what was happening. The operations room operator immediately contacted the regional train conductor to identify the subject. Identified, from the check of his ticket, it emerged that he would get off at the Ancona station. The Polfer operators who waited for him upon arrival at the station were alerted.
In Foligno, the Polfer reported a 20-year-old Italian citizen in a state of freedom for threatening a public official occurred on board a regional train to the detriment of a Trenitalia employee in the performance of her duties.
In particular, the person was traveling in first class despite having a 2nd class ticket and was sleeping with his feet resting on the seat. The train conductor, therefore, called the traveler's attention to respect the rules set out in the railway regulations of not dirtying the seats with shoes and in response she received an awkward reaction from the man. The check of the ticket also revealed that it was irregular and he was invited to travel in a 2nd class carriage. Upon this request, the man railed against him with offensive, aggressive and threatening phrases, so much so that he forced the train conductor to move away to safeguard his own safety while some travelers present intervened to help him. Having requested intervention from the Compartment Operations Room, the operator proceeded to send the Foligno Polfer patrol to the scene who made the traveler get off the train, identifying him and proceeding against him.
