Syracuse, the police arrive and the pusher throws everything out the window: drugs and 4750 euros seized

Syracuse, in the context of the fight against the sale and consumption of narcotic substances in the so-called drug dealing squares of Syracuse, which for some time has been involving the operational offices of the Aretusea Police Headquarters, the agents of the Flying Squad, with the help of the Canine Unit of Catania and of the Scientific Police, arrested Pugliara Federico, a 25-year-old from Syracuse, already known to the police force, caught in the act of the crime of possession for the purpose of drug dealing.
Yesterday morning, the Flying Squad investigators intervened in an apartment building, located in the Mazzarrona district, for an inspection.
While some policemen were knocking on the door of Pugliara's apartment, other agents, stationed outside the building and in the immediate vicinity, observed the young man who, instead of going to open the door, looked out from the back of the apartment and threw a bag and some envelopes. The officers, after having recovered the material and carried out a careful search inside the building, found and seized 150 doses of marijuana, for a total of 240 grams, 4750 euros in cash, various material for packaging the drug and two precision scales .
Furthermore, the agents removed some cameras and a monitor which made up a video surveillance system placed to monitor the drug dealing activity.
For the quantity of drugs seized, which if passed off would have earned the pusher 2500 euros, Pugliara Federico, on the orders of the competent Judicial Authority, was placed under house arrest.
