In Belvedere, the Carabinieri of the Solarino station arrested a 39-year-old man seriously suspected of possession for the purpose of dealing drugs.
The man, aboard a large engine car, did not stop when the soldiers stopped, who immediately reached him and blocked him.
Following a personal and vehicular search, he was found in possession of 78 grams of cocaine hidden inside the pouch he was carrying.
The narcotic was seized for subsequent laboratory tests.
After the formalities, the 39-year-old was associated with the "Cavadonna" prison in Syracuse, as ordered by the Aretusea judicial authority.
