Seregno, stabs rival in the throat: 50-year-old arrested for attempted murder

Yesterday afternoon two carabinieri from the mobile radio section of the Company seregno (MB) intervened free from duty and arrested a 50-year-old from Seregno flagrantly for attempted murder, possession of weapons or objects capable of offending, evasion and resistance to a public official - with several precedents for crimes against the person, property and in narcotics matters, subjected to house arrest - who, around 15:00 pm, attacked a 49-year-old man with a knife - also from Seregno with various previous cases for crimes against property and in narcotics matters - launching him with two blows, one of which in the right arm and one in the throat.

At the same time he was also arrested for resisting a public official and illegally carrying weapons or objects capable of offending a 41-year-old - also from Seregno and with several precedents for crimes against property and drugs -, a friend of the attacker.

In the circumstance, one of the workers free from duty and in civilian clothes, passing through the streets of the Lazzaretto district of Seregno, noticed the 50-year-old who, armed with a knife, was attacking another subject subsequently identified as a 49-year-old from Brianza, also convicted of crimes against property and in drug matters, intervened by disarming him while he was launching blows and thus interrupting his murderous intent.

The 50-year-old then arrived to support the 41-year-old, also armed with a knife, who together with the first, verbally and physically attacked the soldier. Shortly afterwards, another soldier, again from the Seregno mobile radio, also free from duty, reached the location of the event and, having realized what was happening, intervened, immobilising the 50-year-old while the other attacker voluntarily desisted from the action. throwing the knife he was holding onto the ground.

Four gazelles from the company then intervened in support of the scene, along with the "118" medical emergency services who transported the victim in code yellow to the emergency room of the Desio hospital (MB) where he was treated and discharged for seven days with a prognosis of the stab wounds sustained.

Taken to the barracks for the investigation of the case, the 50-year-old and the 49-year-old were placed under arrest and, on the orders of the public prosecutor on duty, transferred to the Monza prison. In the following days the Monza Public Prosecutor's Office will ask for validation.
