Brescia, Senegalese arrested, dealing hashish in the railway area
Brescia, the activity of the Local Police continues to combat drug dealing and urban decay in the railway station area. On Wednesday 15 July the officers arrested a Senegalese man and seized around seven grams of hashish.
During the evening a patrol, which was inspecting the surroundings of the station, noticed the suspicious movements of a Senegalese man. The man, riding a bicycle, gave the impression of controlling the area by continuously moving between Via Solferino and Viale della Stazione.
At a certain point the Senegalese was joined by a person of Nigerian origin to whom he handed over a package that he had just extracted from the briefs, receiving a banknote in exchange. The two then separated and, immediately afterwards, the officers intervened, stopping the Senegalese.
The latter tried to free himself and escape from arrest but the men of the Local Police, not without difficulty, managed to get him on board the service car to accompany him to the headquarters. The Senegalese then tried to get rid of the narcotic that he had with him trying to hide two bags, just removed from the briefs, in the back of the seat. The officers, however, saw him and recovered the drugs: 16 portions of hashish weighing a total of six and a half grams. The patrol then also stopped the Nigerian, seizing the dose of hashish weighing approximately half a gram that he had just purchased.
Senegalese, convicted of drug dealing and irregular on the national territory, he was arrested and, at the order of the Public Prosecutor, was held in the security rooms of the Command awaiting immediate judgement.
