Sardinia, yesterday evening in Carbonia the carabinieri of the local station arrested a 28-year-old local woman, unemployed with previous complaints against her, in execution of a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the GIP Office of the Court of Cagliari. The arrested woman, at the end of the notification of the provision, was associated with the "Ettore Scalas" prison in Uta. On the night of May 31st in Carbonia a man and a woman had perpetrated a robbery against a bed and breakfast located in the city center. The two had entered the accommodation facility around 03.00 am, by breaking into the window of a room on the ground floor, in which the 28-year-old perpetrator of the criminal event appears to have stayed overnight the previous week, who evidently had taken the cue from that visit to organize the robbery with his adventure companion, a 46-year-old also from Carbonia who is well known to the police. Inside a bed and breakfast there really isn't much to steal, at least nothing that can be easily monetised. After walking around inside the structure for about an hour, the two intruders inadvertently attracted the attention of the owner around 4.00 am who heard noises and went down.

to check what was happening. The owner immediately managed to stop the intruder in the courtyard, but her accomplice intervened to help the girl. By brandishing a gun at the owner of the public establishment, he inhibited any defensive action. At this point the theft turned into robbery and two perpetrators of the crime finally ran away with the victim's wallet containing three credit/debit cards and 5 20 euro banknotes. The victim immediately raised the alarm with a call to 112 to request help. A police patrol soon arrived at the scene of the crime. Not knowing who to look for, the soldiers asked to view the images from the internal video surveillance system. After having recognized both perpetrators of the crime from the available images, well known to the police, they went to wait for the man outside the house and managed to capture him when he returned home after evidently having accompanied the girl somewhere. At first the girl escaped arrest in flagrante delicto but the subsequent provision of the judicial authority still led her to prison.
