Sanremo, caught with nine doses of cocaine: 32-year-old from Gallarate arrested for drug dealing. 

It continues unabated too in Sanremo the Carabinieri's activity to combat illicit detention and drug dealing, especially among the younger ones.

In fact, last Thursday afternoon, right in the streets of the city centre, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Sanremo Company an Italian from the province of Varese was arrested in flagrante delicto for illicit possession of narcotic substances.

The man, a thirty-one year old from Gallarate resident in Somma Lombardo in the province of Varese and already known to the police for numerous crimes relating to drugs and property, around 16.00 pm he had been seen wandering suspiciously along Salita San Bernardo by an Aliquota Radiomobile patrol on duty patrol and that shortly before he had also noticed a certain movement of young hirers in Piazza degli Eroi who, at the sight of the car with the institute colours, tried to move away.

Identified not far away among those who were trying to mingle with passers-by, the suspect was checked and found in possession of nine doses of cocaine ready to be sold to as many young hirers.

Arrested in flagrante delicto for illicit possession of narcotic substances, after the formalities the man was held in the security rooms of the Carabinieri Company of Sanremo, available to the Judicial Authority and awaiting the validation judgement.
