Sanremo and Bordighera, Imperia. Increase in territorial control services: two foreigners arrested with detention order.

With the approach of the summer and the increase in attendance in the province services in the area also increased of the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Imperia through theintensification of patrols and road checks, in order to maintain a high level of safety for both residents and tourists.

Precisely as part of these checks on the afternoon of Sunday 14 April the Carabinieri of the Sanremo Company carried out a foreigner burdened by a Detention Order from the Enforcement Office of the Court of Turin was arrested.

The man, a qforty-eight year old of Tunisian origin, was checked near Corso Inglesi and the Aliquota Radiomobile soldiers immediately noticed some inconsistencies in the personal details provided by the foreigner and therefore decided to take him to the barracks to better clarify his position. Subjected to photo-signalling, the aforementioned is turned out to have several aliases and above all an Incarceration Order from the Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Turin dating back to January 2011, for the execution of almost five years of imprisonment for the crimes of aggravated robbery and production, possession and trafficking of narcotic substances.

In Bordighera, however, the Carabinieri of the local station have tracked down a forty-three year old Romanian resident in the province of Milano and burdened by an Incarceration Order from the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Genoa for the expiation of a residual sentence of one year and four months for various property crimes committed between 2014 and 2016.

After the ritual formalities, the two foreigners were associated with the Sanremo prison available to the Judicial Authority to serve the rest of the sentence and, against the North African, there is a further complaint for having provided false personal details to the Carabinieri during the identification phases.
